KOMPAS.TV- Menanggapi fenomena pawai sound horeg yang ramai pro dan kontra. Majelis Ulama Indonesia atau MUI Jawa Timur resmi menerbitkan fatwa haram bagi sound horeg. MUI Jatim menilai sound horeg mengandungkemudaratan.Melansir dari Kompas.tv, Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Jawa Timur mengumumkan fatwa haram untuk praktik sound horeg. Fatwa tersebut termaktub dalam Fatwa MUI Jatim Nomor 1 Tahun 2025 yang terbit pada Minggu, 13 Juli 2025. Dalam perumusannya Rabu, 9 Juli 2025. Komisi Fatwa MUI Jatim melibatkan pakar THT, aparat,pemda, hingga perwakilan komunitas sound horeg.
Selain itu, menurut ahli, suara bising dari sound horeg berbahaya bagi kesehatan telinga. Sebab suara yang ditimbulkan sebesar 135 desibel yang setara dengan suara mesin pesawat.
