Beda Klaim Trump & Menlu Iran soal Kesepakatan Iran-Israel Gencatan Senjata, Mana Benar?

KOMPAS.TV - Tak lama setelah serangan Iran ke pangkalan militer Amerika Serikat di Qatar, Presiden AS Donald Trump mengklaim bahwa Iran dan Israel telah sepakat melakukan gencatan senjata total.

Ia menyampaikan pengumuman itu melalui akun media sosialnya dengan menulis, "Selamat, sudah ada kesepakatan antara Israel dan Iran untuk gencatan senjata total."

Trump menyatakan, gencatan senjata ini secara resmi mengakhiri konflik bersenjata IsraelIran yang berlangsung selama 12 hari.

Ia menambahkan, selama masa gencatan senjata, kedua pihak akan berada dalam situasi damai dan saling menghormati.

Namun, Menteri Luar Negeri Iran membantah klaim tersebut. Ia menegaskan bahwa Iran baru akan menghentikan serangannya jika Israel lebih dulu menghentikan serangan udara sebelum pukul 04.00 waktu setempat.

Alih-alih meredakan konflik, Israel justru meningkatkan intensitas serangan tepat sebelum waktu gencatan senjata berlaku.
