An immersive look at the LA fires—and what we lost | Nonny de la Pena | TEDxManhattanBeach

After the devastating January 2025 Los Angeles firestorm, immersive journalism pioneer Nonny de la Peña used spatial technology and AI to document neighborhoods reduced to silence. Blending personal loss with cutting-edge storytelling, she reveals how immersive media can bear witness to disaster, preserve memory, and help communities rebuild with resilience. This is a powerful reflection on what endures after everything burns—and how love and human connection become our guiding force. #fire #Palisadesfire #firestorm #LAfires
