Belasan bangunan yang saling berdempet luluh lantak dilahap si jago merah.
Lima unit mobil pemadam kebakaran diturunkan di lokasi.
Menurut warga sekitar, Andi Kurniawan (27), kebakaran terjadi pada sekira pukul 14.00 WIB.
Ia mengatakan, api diduga bersumber dari salah satu rumah di area depan dan dengan cepat merembet ke bangunan lainnya.
Ia mengatakan, ada sekitar 16 bangunan yang ludes terbakar dalam peristiwa tersebut.
"Penyebabnya itu kayanya sih karena korsleting listrik, soalnya cepat banget dari depan langsung merembet ke belakang," ujarnya.
Beruntung tak ada korban jiwa dari kejadian tersebut, namun bangunan ludes terbakar.
Informasi terkini, api sudah padam namun para petugas masih melakukan penyemprotan di beberapa area untuk memastikan api padam sepenuhnya.
