È un luogo in cui lo Stato ha dimostrato, più forse che in ogni altro luogo, la sua capacità di non essere disposto a indietreggiare quando i momenti davvero difficili arrivavano, di non essere disposto ad indietreggiare di fronte alla violenza mafiosa.
