ELECFREAKS Smart Agriculture Kit Tutorial | Farm Security System
Build a smart farm security system using the ELECFREAKS Smart Agriculture Kit, micro:bit and Microsoft MakeCode!In this Future Farming tutorial, we use an ultrasonic sensor to detect objects approaching a farm fence line. When something enters the detection zone, the micro:bit activates a warning light and alarm, creating a simple automated security system.

- Connect an ultrasonic sensor, Rainbow LED and OLED screen to the ELECFREAKS IoT:bit
- Measure distance using an ultrasonic sensor
- Store sensor readings using a variable
- Use if-then-else logic in MakeCode
- Detect objects within a set distance
- Activate a warning light and alarm
- Extend the project by displaying a WARNING message on the OLED screen
