MAROS, KOMPAS.TV - Tim Penjinak Bom Polda Sulawesi Selatan memusnahkan granat genggam jenis nanas yang masih aktif.Granat aktif ini sebelumnya ditemukan di rumah warga di Kabupaten Maros.
Disposal atau pemusnahan satu buah granat genggam jenis nanas dilakukan oleh Tim Penjinak Bom Den Gegana Polda Sulawesi Selatan di Kecamatan Bantimurung, Kabupaten Maros.
Pemusnahan berlangsung di tempat yang aman, jauh dari keramaian warga.
Dari hasil penyelidikan polisi, granat ini ditemukan oleh seorang anak kecil dua tahun lalu di tempat sampah.
Granat yang dikira mainan ini kemudian disimpan di rumah warga sebelum ditemukan kembali dan diledakkan.
