Carl Gustav Jung'un “Kırmızı Kitabı”nı ilk kez okuduğumda, açık sölüyeyim ne beklemem gerektiğini bilmiyordum. Yüzeysel bir kişisel gelişim kitabı bekliyordum. Ancak okudukça, bu kitabın bir insanın kendi iç karanlığına inip oradan canlı olarak çıkma çabasını anlatan bir belge olduğunu fark ettim.Carl Gustav Jung bu kitabı onlarca yıl boyunca kimseye göstermedi. Kitabı ancak ölümünden sonra yayınlandı. Çünkü bu kitap, en savunmasız, en çıplak haliyle kendisiyle yüzleştiği bir dönemin sonucuydu. Okurken bazen durup düşündüm. Bazı satırları tekrar tekrar okudum.
Sonra bu içeriği hazırlamak için aylarca çeşitli kaynakları taradım. Carl Gustav Jung hakkında akademik makaleler, onu yorumlayan filozofların yazıları, seminer notları... Her şeyi bir araya getirdim ve size en basit ve en dürüst haliyle sunmaya çalıştım.
