VW hat den ID.Cross offiziell vorgestellt – so richtig neu ist er nach dem seriennahen Konzept und ersten Medien-Fahrten aber nicht mehr. Das elektrische Pendant zum T-Cross steht auf der Plattform des ID.Polo und kostet zum Marktstart 36.525 Euro in der zweithöchsten Ausstattungslinie Life, mit 52-kWh-Batterie und 427 Kilometern WLTP-Reichweite. Ich ordne ein, warum das kein Selbstläufer wird: Kia EV2, Renault R4 E-Tech und das Konzernschwestermodell Škoda Epiq sind längst da – den Kia EV2 gibt es in der mittleren Ausstattungslinie Earth mit 61-kWh-Akku sogar für fast 1.000 Euro weniger.
Außerdem beantworte ich die dringendsten Fragen der Auto-YouTuber-Kollegen: vom Kia-XCeed-Facelift über Nissan X-Trail, Audi Q4 e-tron und Jeep Avenger bis zur Frage, ob der in Pamplona gebaute ID.Cross überhaupt ein echter VW ist.
