Stop Making Boring Excel Dashboards

I gave Claude, right inside Excel, a boring sales dashboard: raw numbers, gridlines, a rainbow chart and a 3D pie. Two prompts later it was a clean, professional dashboard with KPI cards in SAR, one green, and bar charts that sort themselves.

But Claude's first version still left a chart-data block on the screen, no currency, tiny text, and a dashboard taller than the screen, and every one of its checks passed. I show you both prompts, what I had to fix, what Claude honestly said it could not check, and the five rules that turn any boring dashboard into a professional one.
