Prof. Max Otte: „Merz hat meine niedrigen Erwartungen grandios unterboten“
Deutschland steckt laut Prof. Max Otte mitten in der von ihm bereits 2023 prognostizierten wirtschaftlichen Abwärtsentwicklung. „Die Industriekerne brechen weg“, sagt der Ökonom, Buchautor und Fondsmanager. Besonders deutlich wird Otte bei Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz: „Ich kenne Merz schon sehr lange. Ich hab nicht viel von ihm erwartet. Ich hatte sehr niedrige Erwartungen, aber er hat sie grandios unterboten.“ Otte spricht zudem über die wirtschaftliche Lage Deutschlands und die zunehmende politische Unzufriedenheit und die Frage, ob Deutschland in eine neue wirtschaftliche Phase eintritt. Außerdem geht es um den KI-Boom und die Börse: „Der KI-Trend ist real, aber wir sehen da mittlerweile auch eine Überbewertung.“ Otte erklärt auch, warum er derzeit weniger auf Big Tech und stärker auf Value-Aktien, Energie und andere günstig bewertete Bereiche setzt. Auch Gold spielt für ihn eine Rolle: „Ich würde keinem jetzt raten, da Vollgas reinzugehen.
