Dalam insiden tersebut lima personel Polres Tarakan dilaporkan mengalami luka-luka dan sejumlah fasilitas kantor rusak.
Sekitar pukul 22.45 WITA, oknum TNI yang berjumlah sekitar 20 orang tiba di depan Bank Mandiri di Jalan Yos Sudarso menggunakan truk berwarna hijau.
Mereka kemudian berjalan kaki menuju Mako Polres Tarakan sambil membawa batu, kayu, dan besi.
Mereka juga merusak fasilitas di kantor kepolisian tersebut.
Akibat kejadian ini, lima anggota Polres Tarakan mengalami luka-luka dan saat ini masih menjalani perawatan di RSUD Jusuf SK.
Dalam insiden ini, para pelaku diduga menggunakan berbagai alat untuk melakukan serangan, antara lain batu, kayu, besi, serta diduga membawa senjata api laras pendek (airsoft gun) dan senjata tajam seperti sangkur dan kerambit. (Tribun-Video.com)
