KOMPAS.TV - Terlapor Roy Suryo mempertanyakan alasan Polda Metro Jaya menaikkan status laporan pencemaran nama baik yang dilaporkan Presiden ke-7 Joko Widodo ke tahap penyidikan.Roy Suryo menyatakan, bukti yang digunakan Polda Metro Jaya untuk menaikkan status kasus pencemaran nama baik ke tahap penyidikan tidak valid, karena hanya menggunakan fotokopi ijazah Jokowi.
Menurutnya, fotokopi ijazah tidak bisa dijadikan bukti dalam pengusutan perkara.
Roy Suryo juga menegaskan, jika sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka, pihak yang diperiksa terlebih dahulu adalah terlapor, yaitu Joko Widodo.
