He addressed a key session on inclusive and sustainable economic growth and called for a profound rethinking of global development parameters. PM Modi proposed four major initiatives: a Global Traditional Knowledge Repository to document sustainable living practices; the G20–Africa Skills Multiplier Initiative aimed at training one million African trainers; a G20 initiative to counter the drug–terror nexus, highlighting the danger of synthetic drugs like fentanyl; and the formation of global teams of trained experts from G20 nations to counter health emergencies. Despite a US boycott, G20 leaders adopted a declaration which reflected issues raised by PM Modi.
