Dua roket di antaranya menghantam sektor militer bandara dan melukai dua personel keamanan secara ringan.
Sementara itu, pejabat keamanan Irak menyebut roket yang digunakan berjenis Katyusha dan mendarat di area militer bandara.
Satu roket lainnya jatuh di lingkungan Uruba, Kirkuk, dan merusak sebuah rumah warga tanpa menimbulkan korban jiwa.
Dilaporkan satu roket jatuh di dekat landasan pacu bandara, sementara lainnya mengenai permukiman di luar kompleks.
Hingga saat ini, belum diketahui pihak yang mengklaim bertanggung jawab atas serangan roket tersebut.
Sebagai informasi, bandara Kirkuk diketahui digunakan oleh Angkatan Darat Irak, polisi federal, dan kelompok paramiliter Hashed al-Shaabi.
Dikabarkan wilayah tersebut rawan konflik dan aksi kekerasan bersenjata.
Otoritas setempat kini tengah menyelidiki pelaku di balik serangan roket tersebut.
