B-2-Stealth-Bomber starten Richtung Iran: USA kündigen neue Präzisionsschläge anMehrere B-2-Stealth-Bomber der US-Luftwaffe sind zu einem Einsatz Richtung Iran gestartet. Aufnahmen zeigen die Tarnkappenflugzeuge beim Start. Laut Angaben des für den Nahen Osten zuständigen US-Regionalkommandos sollen mit weiteren Präzisionsschlägen militärische Fähigkeiten des iranischen Regimes ausgeschaltet werden. Die Operation zielt nach Darstellung der US-Streitkräfte darauf ab, Bedrohungen zu beseitigen und die militärische Infrastruktur des Iran langfristig zu schwächen. B-2-Bomber gelten als eines der modernsten strategischen Flugzeuge der USA und können schwer geschützte Ziele aus großer Entfernung angreifen.
