(LaPresse) Nelle acque internazionali del Mediterraneo centrale sono stati soccorsi , in tre diversi interventi, 123 migranti dalla nace Life Support, secondo quanto riferito dalla Ong Emergency. Tra le persone salvate che sono in maggioranza uomini, ci sono anche 26 minori non accompagnati e 20 donne. La squadra di soccorso si è mobilitata per il primo intervento dopo che l'imbarcazione è stata avvistata in acque internazionali all'interno della zona di ricerca e soccorso (SAR) libica. I migranti sono stati portati a bordo della nave Life Support dell'ONG. Alcuni hanno riferito ai funzionari di Emergency di aver lasciato la costa libica alle 4 del mattino di venerdì. Sono seguiti poi altri due interventi di soccorso, tra venerdì e sabato.Per finanziare progetti come la nave Life Support, Emergency fa sapere che dal 26 al 29 marzo tornerà nelle piazze italiane con le “Colombe di Pace”, il dolce pasquale distribuito grazie all’impegno di 3mila volontari.
