Les jeunes s’apprécient et leurs fiançailles sont organisées le soir même, à 18 heures. Mais Its’hak apprend la nouvelle et craint que tout le monde se demande ce qui ne va pas chez lui. Il consulte son Rav sans préciser que les fiançailles sont déjà prévues dans quelques heures. Le Rav lui répond qu’il peut exprimer respectueusement son opposition.
