Ospite ai microfoni di Fabio #Duranti a Un Giorno Speciale, #Sansonetti ha tracciato un quadro severo della giustizia italiana, partendo dalla vicenda di Alberto #Stasi per arrivare a una critica strutturale dell'intero impianto processuale penale del nostro paese.
"Per me non dovrebbe esistere la condanna nel processo indiziario", attacca Sansonetti senza giri di parole. "Nel processo ci dovrebbero essere le prove. Quando non ci sono le prove, si assolve." Nel caso di Stasi, ricorda il direttore, non esistevano prove ma solo indizi "molto contraddittori, e che ora sono caduti quasi tutti". Eppure quell'uomo è stato condannato dopo cinque processi, due dei quali — il primo e il secondo grado — lo avevano assolto.
