Setelah aksi mereka viral di media sosial, polisi langsung turun tangan untuk menelusuri dan menangkap pelaku penjarahan.
Insiden ini terjadi saat sebuah truk pengangkut kasur mengalami kecelakaan bersama dua kendaraan lain di KM 91 Tol Cipularang.
Bukannya membantu, sejumlah warga malah berbondong-bondong mengambil kasur yang tercecer di jalan.
Bahkan bahkan sampai kabur ke perkebunan terdekat.
Pihak kepolisian sudah memperingatkan warga untuk tidak mengambil barang milik korban, tetapi teguran itu diabaikan.
Hal itu diterangkan Kasi Humas Polres Purwakarta AKP Enjang Sukandi.
Menurutnya, delapan warga yang terlibat akhirnya mengembalikan sebanyak 11 kasur yang dijarah setelah mendapat arahan dan imbauan dari polisi.
"Mereka juga membuat video permintaan maaf kepada pihak pemilik barang sebagai bentuk penyesalan atas tindakan mereka," ucapnya.
