Tanri Abeng mengembuskan napas terakhir pada Minggu (23/6) dini hari setelah mendapatkan perawatan di Rumah Sakit Medistra Jakarta.
Tanri Abeng merupakan Menteri Negara Pendayagunaan BUMN di era Presiden Soeharto.
Mendiang melanjutkan jabatannya pada Kabinet Reformasi yang dipimpin Presiden BJ Habibie.
