Entre 1969 e 1971, Ana Cristina Cesar trocou cartas com o então namorado, Luiz Augusto Ramalho. Enquanto ela fazia intercâmbio na Inglaterra, ele havia se exilado na Alemanha. Sob a guarda do Instituto Moreira Salles desde 2021, as 82 peças de correspondência, entre cartas, bilhetes e cartões-postais, têm como fio condutor o amor vivido à distância pelo casal, mas logo se ampliam tematicamente.O conjunto de originais manuscritos foi transcrito e editado pela equipe de Literatura do IMS e será lançado pela Companhia das Letras sob o título Amor mais que maiúsculo: cartas a Luiz Augusto.
A conversa no IMS Rio contou ainda com projeção dos documentos e de outros materiais do acervo da poeta. Participaram Luiz Ramalho, o destinatário das cartas escritas; Rachel Valença, coordenadora do Departamento de Literatura, responsável pelo estabelecimento do texto; e Luis Felipe Cesar, irmão caçula da escritora. A mediação foi de Alice Sant’Anna, editora da Companhia das Letras.
