China, Russia Target Thousands of Hypersonic Missiles After Iran War | Vantage on Firstpost | 4K

The US has warned that Russia and China are racing to build hypersonic missiles. The report cites that China could have 4,000 hypersonic missiles by 2035 while Russia will have 1,000 hypersonic weapons. The assessment comes after the Iran War where hypersonic and ballistic missiles have been used to devastating effect. Russian President Vladimir Putin is personally overseeing Russia's hypersonic program which includes the Kinzhal and the Avangard missiles. Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered more manufacturing of the DF-17 and the DF-26 hypersonic missiles. At the same time, the US struggles to induct its hypersonic weapons after already witnessing at least 8 failed tests in the last 5 years. Hem Kaur Saroya tells you more on Vantage on Firstpost.
