Protesta di Extinction Rebellion a Bologna, in Comune, contro il G7 della Scienza e della Tecnologia in corso al Tecnopolo dal 9 all'11 luglio. È intervenuta anche la Digos e la polizia. Gli attivisti hanno occupato la terrazza di Palazzo d'Accursio, mentre due persone si sono calate dai merli del tetto per esporre uno striscione con lo slogan «G7: la vostra tecnologia, il nostro collasso». Bloccato anche l'ingresso del Comune da una decina di persone che si sono sedute, incatenate tra loro, dopo aver deposto un cumulo di rifiuti tecnologici simbolicamente insanguinati con vernice rossa. «Il gruppo di persone sulla terrazza - fanno sapere gli attivisti - è stato raggiunto da agenti della Digos, che hanno requisito i telefoni cellulari e buttandoli a terra li hanno resi inutilizzabili». I contestatori fanno anche sapere che sono state sequestrate alcune casse per diffondere la musica. Al momento, a quanto si apprende, tre attivisti sono rimasti appesi con delle corde ai merli del tetto, attaccati alla parete della facciata a diversi metri di altezza. Secondo quanto raccontano gli attivisti, le forze dell'ordine sono intervenute nella piazza e hanno proceduto allo sgombero delle persone incatenate. «Hanno tagliato i lucchetti - spiegano - e una decina di persone è stata portata in Questura. Nel frattempo, alcune delle persone sul terrazzo sono state portate in una stanza dell'edificio, ma non è stata ancora fatta chiarezza dagli agenti se si tratta di uno stato di fermo».
