Agua potable en Cuba: otra de las "conquistas" no conquistadas por el castrismo
En pleno 2025, una madre cubana con cuatro hijos ha salido a la calle a protestar en solitario por la falta de agua potable. Su grito de angustia rompe el silencio: “El que no quiera salir, que no salga”, dice mientras el vecindario guarda silencio cómplice o temeroso. Alex Otaola lo denuncia sin rodeos: la revolución no ha podido garantizar ni un cubo de agua limpia.Desde hace décadas, el régimen castrista ha presumido de sus "conquistas sociales", pero lo cierto es que la escasez de agua, la insalubridad y la desidia institucional siguen marcando el día a día del pueblo. Mientras los dirigentes se bañan con regaderas modernas en sus mansiones climatizadas, los barrios como Marianao se hunden en la sed, el abandono y el miedo.
Otaola no deja pasar el detalle más triste de esta escena: la soledad de esa mujer. “Una madre sola en la calle diciendo lo que muchos callan” comenta el activista. Pero también lanza un llamado: cada voz que se levanta, aunque sola, es una grieta más en el muro del silencio.
