Hennelly dice que las autoridades se apresuraron a reabrir la ciudad después del desastre a pesar de los riesgos que implicaban para la salud el aire y los escombros tóxicos esparcidos alrededor de la zona cero. “No había [plataformas de trabajo remoto como] Zoom en ese entonces”, señala Hennelly. “Se le ordenó a la gente regresar a sus oficinas en el Bajo Manhattan, lo que resultó ser una sentencia de muerte”.
