Asya’da yeni hamlemiz: Türkiye neden ASEAN’a girdi?
0Küresel ticaretin ve jeopolitiğin ağırlık merkezi hızla Doğu’ya kayarken Ankara, Batı ittifakındaki konumunu koruyarak bir yandan da yönünü Güneydoğu Asya’ya çeviriyor. ABD’nin gümrük duvarları ile Çin’in sınai baskısı arasında sıkışan 690 milyon nüfuslu ve 3,9 trilyon dolarlık ASEAN bloku, iki süper gücün vesayetinden sıyrılabileceği bağımsız ve güvenilir alternatif aktörler arıyor. Türkiye’nin NATO üyeliğinin yanında Doğu’da çok taraflı dengeleme siyaseti yürüterek ASEAN’ın Tam Diyalog Ortağı haline gelmesi, Pasifik sınırlarında yeni bir diplomatik ve ekonomik dönemin kapılarını aralıyor.Bu stratejik yakınlaşmanın en somut itici gücünü ise Türk savunma sanayiinin sunduğu ortak üretim ve teknoloji transferi modeli oluşturuyor. Küresel petrol ticaretinin şah damarı Malakka Boğazı’nın deniz güvenliğinden küresel tedarik zincirlerinin yeniden yapılanmasına ve ticarette yerel para birimlerinin kullanımına kadar pek çok kritik başlık, Türkiye-ASEAN hattında çok katmanlı bir kazan-kazan ortaklığına dönüşüyor.
