Auch Co-Parteichefin Alice Weidel gerät nun unter Druck. So darf Fraktionsvize Stefan Keuter trotz heftiger Kritik im Amt bleiben. Er hatte seine Lebensgefährtin in seinem Bundestagsbüro beschäftigt und stand deshalb unter Filzverdacht. Keuter muss als Konsequenz jedoch die Personalverwaltung in der Bundestagsfraktion abgeben und darf seine Partnerin nicht weiter beschäftigen. Das ist eine Schlappe für Weidel. In diesem Fall sowie in einem weiteren mussten die jeweils von ihr geforderten Parteiausschlussverfahren gestoppt werden.
