ماذا لو كان العالم الذي نعرفه مجرّد ظلال على جدار كهف؟ في أنمي "هجوم العمالقة"، يعيش البشر خلف أسوار ضخمة تحميهم من العمالقة، لكنّها تحجب عنهم أيضاً حقيقة العالم خارجها. ومع رحلة إيرين ييغر لاكتشاف ما وراء الأسوار، تتكشف قصة أعقد من صراع البشر والوحوش، قصة عن الخوف والحرية والجهل والتاريخ الذي يُستخدم لصناعة الأعداء.في هذه الحلقة من "الجهبذ" مع بشر النجار، نربط عالم "هجوم العمالقة" بأفكار فلسفية ونفسية، من كهف أفلاطون والعقد الاجتماعي عند توماس هوبز، إلى النفور من المجهول والتجريد من الإنسانية وتأثير العدو المشترك. كيف يتحوّل الخوف إلى كراهية؟ وكيف يصبح الضحية جلاداً؟ وهل يمكن أن تنهي صناعة عدو مشترك دائرة العنف، أم أنها تؤجلها فقط؟
