US announces Iran port blockade: Tensions rise as IRGC issues warning
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced plans to enforce a naval blockade targeting maritime traffic to and from Iranian ports, escalating tensions in an already fragile region.According to officials, the blockade will apply to vessels entering or leaving Iranian ports across the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, while allowing freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz for ships not linked to Iran.
