WELTREKORD IN NORWEGEN: Rogfast wird mit 26,7 Kilometern längster Unterwasser-Straßentunnel
In Norwegen entsteht mit Rogfast eines der spektakulärsten Verkehrsprojekte Europas. Der 26,7 Kilometer lange Unterwasser-Straßentunnel führt unter dem Boknafjord hindurch und soll an seiner tiefsten Stelle rund 390 Meter unter dem Meeresspiegel liegen. Die Verbindung ist Teil der E39 und soll die Reisezeit zwischen Stavanger und Bergen um rund 40 Minuten verkürzen. Der Bau begann 2018, die Eröffnung ist für 2033 geplant. Die aktuellen offiziellen Kostenschätzungen liegen bei 20,6 Milliarden norwegischen Kronen.Quelle: Statens vegvesen (Norwegian Public Roads Administration)
