화이자, 멧세라 비만제 '메가 딜' '디앤디파마텍'에 기회인 이유

오늘 시장은 거친 조정 흐름을 보이고 있습니다. 추석 연휴를 앞두고 변동성이 커지는 가운데, 상법 개정안 처리 지연 우려도 투자심리를 짓누르고 있습니다. 실제로 수급을 보면 코스닥에서 외국인과 기관이 집중 매도에 나선 종목은 바이오주였고, 비만 치료제 관련주들이 1~3위를 모두 차지했습니다.

특히 디앤디파마텍은 화이자의 멧세라 인수 소식에 상한가까지 치솟았는데요. 이번 인수는 최대 10조 원 규모, 글로벌 비만 치료제 인수 가운데 역대 최대 건입니다. 다만 계약 구조상 디앤디파마텍의 물질은 이번 인수 대상에서 제외됐습니다.

그럼에도 화이자가 경구용 비만 치료제의 임상 임박을 직접 강조한 만큼, 디앤디파마텍 파이프라인이 향후 재부각될 가능성도 남아 있습니다. 당장은 기대와 불확실성이 교차하지만, 장기적으로 어떤 평가를 받을지 지켜볼 관전 포인트입니다.
