Nicola Montesano Responsabile Anas Sicilia.Anas ha aperto al traffico il nuovo tracciato della strada statale 284 “Occidentale Etnea” ad Adrano, Catania, trasferendo la circolazione veicolare dall’attuale sede stradale sul nuovo asse principale. Alla cerimonia di apertura hanno partecipato il Sindaco del Comune di Adrano, Fabio Mancuso, l’Assessore Regionale alle Infrastrutture e alla Mobilità, Alessandro Aricò, il Presidente dell’Assemblea Regionale Siciliana, Gaetano Galvagno, il Senatore Giuseppe Firrarello, e il Responsabile della Struttura Territoriale Anas Sicilia, Nicola Montesano.
Con l’entrata in esercizio della nuova infrastruttura - fa sapere l’Anas - il collegamento assume da oggi la funzione di asse principale della SS 284 nel tratto interessato. Il trasferimento dei flussi sulla nuova sede consente di migliorare i livelli di servizio e la sicurezza della circolazione, riducendo i tempi di percorrenza e superando le criticità dell’attuale tracciato, caratterizzato da un andamento tortuoso e da numerosi accessi alle proprietà adiacenti.
