What Hunted Us Before We Became the Most Dangerous Species

Did you know that way back in the day, humans weren’t just hunters—they were also prey? 😨 Early humans actually had to survive alongside other hominid species like Neanderthals, who were bigger, stronger, and not always friendly. In fact, Neanderthals were so dominant that they kept our ancestors out of Europe for about 100,000 years—basically saying, “Not today, Homo sapiens!” 💪 But forget the old cartoon image of Neanderthals as clueless cavemen—they were smart, had their own language, and were skilled warriors. 🧠🗡️ What’s wild is that we’re still not exactly sure what happened to them—they could’ve been wiped out, blended in with us through interbreeding, or just been taken down by disease.
