Come si calcola la velocità della luce? Bastano due specchi, un raggio di luce e una ruota dentata. In questo nuovo video di Geopop riprodurremo in realtà aumentata l’esperimento di Fizeau, uno dei più ingegnosi della fisica e del mondo scientifico. Nel 1849, Hippolyte Fizeau realizzò un esperimento per misurare la velocità della luce, utilizzando due specchi distanti 8,6 km e una ruota dentata. Grazie a questo sistema, il fisico francese riuscì a ottenere un valore della velocità della luce che si discostava solo del 5% rispetto a quello corretto, cioè 299.792.458 m/s.
