你有沒有遇過這樣的合作？

兩邊聊得非常開心，對方不斷說欣賞你、期待合作，甚至已經開始想像未來。可是幾個月過去，咖啡喝了好幾杯，合作始終停留在「改天」。

最折磨人的往往不是被拒絕，而是你根本不知道：他真的想合作，還是只是說說？

這一集，我想談一個我稱為「價格探針」的概念。開價不只是告訴對方我要收多少錢，也是在提出一個問題，讓原本看不見的心理狀態，轉化成可以觀察的行為。

對方直接接受，表示條件在他的可接受範圍；嫌貴卻開始還價，代表合作意願可能仍然存在；要求縮小工作範圍，透露的也許是預算限制；接受總價卻希望分期，問題可能出在現金流。真正重要的資訊，不只在他答不答應，而在他怎麼把球打回來。

當然，對方消失也不等於他一定沒有誠意。探針不是用來讀心，而是幫助我們減少需要猜測的部分。

很多商業上的不確定，不是靠坐在原地想清楚，而是設計一個合理、真實、成本可控的條件，讓現實回答你。好的開價不只為了賣得更貴，而是讓下一個決定更接近真實。
