Am Frankfurter Flughafen klappte das Bugfahrwerk eines nagelneuen Lufthansa-Dreamliners (Boeing 787-9) kurz vor dem Abflug nach Los Angeles zusammen – die Maschine lag auf der Nase, mehrere Crewmitglieder wurden verletzt. Luftfahrtexperte Heinrich Großbongardt erklärt im Gespräch mit Thomas Kausch, warum ein falsch gesetzter Sicherungsstift am Bugfahrwerk der wahrscheinlichste Auslöser ist – und dass identische Vorfälle bereits 2021 bei British Airways in Heathrow sowie bei Ethiopian Airways passiert sind. Der Listenpreis des betroffenen Flugzeugs: 300 Millionen Euro. Großbongardt geht nicht von einem Totalschaden aus. Die Bundesstelle für Flugunfalluntersuchung ermittelt.
