Dua pelaku pembunuhan itu masing-masing berinisial BM (27) dan NV, ditangkap pada Senin (24/2/2025) lalu.
BM diketahui ditangkap di Tanah Datar, Sumbar, dan NV di Langsa, Aceh.
Hal itu disampaikan oleh Kasat Reskrim Polres Tanah Datar AKP Surya Wahyudi pada Selasa (25/2/2025).
Keduanya ditangkap setelah polisi melakukan penyelidikan intensif sejak kematian korban pada Rabu (19/2/2025) lalu.
Lalu, polisi mendapatkan petunjuk yang mengarah ke kedua pelaku sehingga dilakukan penangkapan.
Sebelumnya diberitakan, warga Sungai Tarab, Tanah Datar, Sumatera Barat, dikejutkan dengan penemuan mayat seorang wanita dalam karung putih di pinggir jalan pada Rabu (19/2/2025).
Karung berisi jasad tersebut ditemukan di Jorong Sungai Tarab, Nagari Sungai Tarab, Kabupaten Tanah Datar.
Korban memakai baju hitam, celana panjang pink, serta memakai hijab.
Di lengan kiri ada diduga tato yang bertuliskan nama C.
Lalu, polisi mengungkap identitas korban dari hasil pemeriksaan dan ciri-ciri fisik korban.
