India is set to strengthen its position as a global education hub as the higher education sector enters a new phase of internationalisation. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has handed over Letters of Approval to three globally renowned universities from the United Kingdom and Australia to establish campuses in India. The approved institutions are the University of Bristol and the University of York, both of which will open campuses in Mumbai, and the University of New South Wales, which will establish a campus in Bengaluru.
