China insta a miembros de OMC a abordar turbulencias comerciales y defender multilateralismo
En el marco de la cuarta reunión del Consejo General de la Organización Mundial del Comercio de este año, China pidió a los miembros de la organización abordar colectivamente la creciente turbulencia comercial y defender conjuntamente los valores y principios fundamentales del sistema de comercio multilateral.Li Yongjie, representante permanente y embajadora de China ante la OMC, señaló que las políticas comerciales de Estados Unidos han perturbado las cadenas de suministro y desestabilizado los mercados globales, lo que perjudica la estabilidad y la recuperación económica y comercial mundial. En ese sentido, Li formuló tres recomendaciones para afrontar esta situación: elevar la transparencia y la supervisión, reafirmar colectivamente el compromiso y la adhesión al sistema multilateral de comercio basado en normas, y adoptar medidas concretas para que la OMC logre resultados pragmáticos.
