Tiga kandidat tersebut di antaranya Ronald A Sinaga alias Bro Ron, Kaesang Pangarep dan Agus Mulyono Herlambang.
Adapun proses pendaftaran calon ketua umum telah ditutup pada Senin (23/6/2025) kemarin. Hingga batas waktu tersebut, hanya tiga orang itu yang telah mendaftar sebagai calon ketua umum.
Hal ini pun menegaskan bahwa Presiden ke-7 Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo yang digadang-gadang akan mencalonkan diri sebagai bakal calon ketua umum PSI, tidak ikut dalam kontestasi tersebut.
