За п'ять років українські металурги сплатили в бюджет 6 млрд доларів - це майже 200 мільярдів гривень податків. ((БЗ))За підсумками минулого року надходження від чотирьох найбільших компаній галузі зросли на понад 2%, і становили 33,1 млрд грн. Так, АрселорМіттал Кривий Ріг збільшив відрахування на 28%. На один відсоток наростив платежі Інтерпайп. Метінвест скоротив відрахування на 5% - до 18,7 млрд грн. А дніпровський металургійний завод зменшив сплату майже на 42%. Загальна тенденція до уповільнення пояснюється погіршенням економічної ситуації в галузі. Зокрема, 2025 рік став першим для Метінвесту без постачання коксівного вугілля з власного підприємства, а також зі скороченням виробництва у гірничому сегменті. Інгулецький гірничо-збагачувальний комбінат протягом року перебував у простої через високі тарифи на електроенергію та логістику. Серед ключових викликів - дефіцит електроенергії, зростання імпорту коксівного вугілля, вплив механізму вуглецевого коригування імпорту, високі тарифи державних монополій та низькі світові ціни на металопродукцію.
