Surat PHK ini muncul setelah PT Sritex dinyatakan pailit oleh Pengadilan Niaga Kota Semarang pada 21 Oktober 2024.
Adapun sebelumnya, para pegawai Sritex sempat mengadukan nasibnya pada Presiden Prabowo Subianto.
Bahkan Wakil Menteri Ketenagakerjaan (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer juga menjamin tak ada PHK terhadap para karyawan PT Sritex.
