Dramatische Szenen vor der Küste von Jesolo: Eine rund 20 Meter lange Jacht gerät auf dem Rückweg in den Hafen plötzlich in Brand. An Bord befinden sich etwa zehn bis elf Personen, darunter der Schiffsführer. Feuerwehr, Küstenwache, Taucher und mehrere Hubschrauber kämpfen gegen die Flammen. Erst nach mehr als einer Stunde kann ein Löschboot das Feuer unter Kontrolle bringen. Für das Schiff kommt jede Hilfe zu spät: Die schwer beschädigte Jacht sinkt auf den Meeresgrund. Alle Menschen an Bord werden rechtzeitig gerettet, Verletzte gibt es nicht. Als mögliche Brandursache gilt ein Kurzschluss.Quelle: Vigil del Fuoco
