A Cadillac é a marca mais luxuosa da GM nos Estados Unidos, mas estava perdendo o mercado pois seus clientes eram todos idosos e estavam morrendo.A GM resolveu então rejuvenescer a marca, anunciou sua presença na Fórmula 1 e nisso cutucou sua concorrente, a Ford, que tinha criado uma divisão performance para carros mais rápidos, esportivos, mas agora mudou o nome para Ford Racing, porque ela deve ter pensado: Cadillac na Fórmula 1? Esse lugar é meu.
Afinal eu já disputei a prova de Le Mans com a Ferrari, ganhei e subi no alto do pódio de corridas famosas como Dakar, Daytona e então a Ford não anunciou, mas eu estou apostando que a Cadillac vai brigar com o logotipo oval nas pistas.
