A tragic accident at Assam's Jorhat Air Force Station has claimed the lives of five Indian Air Force personnel after an An-32 transport aircraft crashed while attempting to land. The aircraft had reportedly developed a technical fault shortly after take-off and returned to the base before skidding off the runway and catching fire. The IAF has ordered a court of inquiry to determine the cause of the crash, while tributes pour in for the personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.
