Berlin, Anfang der Neunzigerjahre: Ingo Hasselbach hat sich Hakenkreuze und SS-Runen auf die Haut tätowiert. Medien nennen ihn damals den »Führer von Berlin«, weil er eine wichtige Figur in der rechtsextremen Szene im Osten ist. Hasselbach hetzte damals gegen Migranten, Juden, Linke, Andersdenkende. Und ist zu allem entschlossen: »Der Gedanke war, mit Gewalt, auch tötend, das System zu verändern.« 1993 steigt er aus der rechten Szene aus.

Die Zeit kurz nach der Wende wird später als die sogenannten »Baseballschlägerjahre« bezeichnet. Das Sportgerät wurde zum Symbol für rechtsextreme Gewalt. In dieser Episode spricht Host Christina Pohl mit Ingo Hasselbach über ein dunkles Kapitel deutscher Geschichte.
