Le Isole Comore sono uno degli Stati più strani e certamente meno conosciuti del mondo. Un tempo colonie francesi, le tre Comore (prima erano quattro, con Mayotte, che rimane territorio francese) sono tutt’altro che unite, con venti colpi di Stato compiuti nel giro di una cinquantina d’anni, un governo che ha assunto i tratti di una dittatura provvisoria, e un’economia che si basa… sui chiodi di garofano. La situazione, anche quella geopolitica, delle Comore è letteralmente un incubo, ma com’è potuto accadere?
