TEL AVIV (ISRAELE) (ITALPRESS) - Il presidente degli Stati Uniti, Donald Trump, è stato accolto dall’omologo di Israele, Isaac Herzog, e dal premier israeliano, Benjamin Netanyahu, insieme alle loro consorti sulla pista dell’aeroporto Ben Gurion a Tel Aviv. Presenti anche l’inviato di Trump per il Medio Oriente, Steve Witkoff, il genero di Trump, Jared Kushner, e la figlia Ivanka. Subito dopo essere sceso dalla scaletta dell'aereo, Trump ha parlato per alcuni minuti con Herzog e Netanyahu e successivamente con la figlia e Kushner e con Witkoff. Il presidente statunitense è poi salito sull'automobile del convoglio che lo porterà fuori dallo scalo per i primi incontri. Sulla stessa automobile sono saliti anche Netanyahu e la moglie. La visita di Trump in Israele, in concomitanza con il rilascio degli ostaggi rapiti il 7 ottobre 2023, durerà circa quattro ore ed è previsto il suo intervento nella plenaria della Knesset, il parlamento israeliano, e l'incontro con i familiari degli ostaggi. Successivamente decollerà verso l’Egitto per il vertice su Gaza alla presenza di leader regionali e internazionali.tvi/gtr
