Tegaskan Tak Ada Mandat, PBNU Bakal Panggil 5 Tokoh NU yang Temui Presiden Israel, Terancam Dipecat

Sekertaris Jenderal PBNU Gus Saifullah Yusuf alias Gus Ipul menegaskan PBNU tidak memberikan mandat terkait pertemuan itu.
Bahkan lima pemuda NU yang menemui Presiden Israel, Isaac Herzog itu tidak meminta izin ke PBNU.
"Kelima orang tersebut tidak mendapat mandat PBNU. Juga tidak pernah meminta izin ijin ke PBNU," kata Gus Ipul dalam keterangannya, Senin (15/7/2024).
Gus Ipul menegaskan pertemuan itu sangat tidak bijaksana di tengah aksi genosida Israel.
Terlebih NU berada di barisan depan yang mengutuk serangan Israel terhadap Palestina.
PBNU bakal memanggil lima tokoh pemuda tersebut untuk dimintai keterangan.
Utamanya terkait alasan dilakukannya pertemuan dengan Presiden Israel.
Pemanggilan itu juga akan menyelidiki siapa pihak yang menyuruh tokoh NU itu untuk berangkat ke Israel.
Menurut Gus Ipul kelima pemuda itu kemungkinan bakal mendapatkan sanksi pemberhentian.
"Jika ditemukan unsur pelanggaran organisasi. Bukan tidak mungkin kelima orang ini akan diberhentikan dari statusnya sebagai pengurus lembaga atau banom," kata dia. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
